Sandwich panels – Profi-Therm window enlargements for the bridging of lintels and pillars.

Ostrowski sandwich panels from the Profi-Therm series are an ideal example of high-quality panels mainly used for window extensions. Manufactured in a special technology of fusing flat elements together, they are extremely durable. The core of the panel is, among others extruded polystyrene (xps), which is a foam without the use of harmful CFCs, as well as PT foam obtained from packaging waste. However, to create a double-sided cladding,which covers the products of the Profi-Therm series,PVC board was used. The outer layer was additionally covered with a protective foil.

Window widenings – board – polystyrene xps as a core in sandwich panels

Extruded polystyrene (xps) as one of the fillings for the window extensions is used for the production of the core of Ostrowski sandwich panels. Thanks to closely adjacent cells, extruded polystyrene (xps) gains in mechanical strength and thermal insulation parameters. Much more readily used in construction than Styrofoam (EPS), it is also characterized by a low level of water absorption. Extremely rigid, and at the same time surprisingly light sandwich panels with an XPS core, are perfect for filling windows and doors. They allow you to maneuver the dimensions of the width and depth of the complete window installation without any problems.

Our offer includes the Profi-Therm PVC / XPT board, the core of which is extruded polystyrene (xps) and a hard thermoplastic board. Similar properties are characteristic for the Profi-Therm PVC / XPTx2 board, also used as a lintels filling. Our next proposal is Profi-Therm PVC / PT. In this case, the core is only a thermoplastic, ecological PT plate with good mechanical properties. In the Profi-Therm PVC / XPR500 sandwich panel, the main core is extruded polystyrene (xps) together with a hard, rigid, high-density panel. In each plate model, it is possible to screw in screws.
